The Gitschberg with its panoramic summit is a particularly popular destination. The cableway from Meransen quickly reaches an altitude of 2,500 m a.s.l., making it the ideal starting point for numerous magnificent hikes in the heart of nature. Next to the mountain station is a viewing platform from which to enjoy a spectacular 360° view of over 500 summits, ranging from the Sexten Dolomites to the Ötztal Alps.
