In summer, Meransen attracts numerous visitors keen on mountain hiking. Many trails start right in front of our hotel, winding their way through magnificent forests and meadows such as those found in the picturesque Altfasstal Valley. From Vals you can easily arrive at the picturesque Fane Alm pasture at an altitude of 1,739 m a.s.l.. More experienced mountaineers would probably be tempted to take on the summits of the Gitschberg and the Geishorn. To save on time and effort the cable car is a viable alternative. The Gitschberg-Jochtal holiday area is also a haven for mountain biking and paragliding fans.
