What a winter holiday! The slopes of the Gitschberg resort are directly accessible from the hotel Ambet on your skis. Skiers and snowboarders will find 44 km of supreme and snow-sure slopes (of which 4 km difficult, 21 km medium and 19 km easy), in addition 4 cabin lifts, 4 quad chairlifts and 8 ski lifts – South Tyrol at its best! The skiing kindergarten and a lift for beginners are only 50 metres away from the hotel Ambet.


Active winter Holidays: The cross country trail and winter hiking trail into the Altfasstal valley can be reached by shuttle bus within minutes. The neighbouring village of Vals offers an eight-mile circular track. Several natural toboggan runs and a man-made toboggan run in the village make for a fun diversion in the winter holiday. The swimming pool of Maranza is only 200 metres from the hotel Ambet.
