The village of Maranza in the Italian Alps lies at 1,400 metres above sea level on a sunny plateau where the Valle Isarco and the Val Pusteria meet. The Dolomites are within easy reach.

The Hotel Ambet is located in the very centre of the village yet in a particularly quiet spot a little off the road. A nice playground for the little ones is just a few steps away. Indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and the toboggan run of Maranza are nearby.

In summer, we are a popular hiking hotel for the Gitschberg and Jochtal area. Beautiful trails for small or great excursions or even tours with cabin accommodation in the fantastic Italian Alps can start right outside our front door. Above all, the idyllic Altfasstal and the lifts to the Gitschberg open up countless possibilities for hiking.

In winter, you have the unique possibility to get from the hotel directly to the slopes of the skiing resort Gitschberg-Jochtal on your skis! And the other skiing resorts of the Valle Isarco, such as, are just a few driving minutes away. Alternatively Maranza has several toboggan runs and cross country trails at your disposal.
